ICITSS — Orientation & IT Training
ICITSS (Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills) is mandatory before appearing for CA Intermediate Group 2 from May 2024 onwards.
ICITSS (Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills) comprises: (1) 4-week Orientation Programme, and (2) 4-week Information Technology (IT) Training. Both must be completed before appearing for CA Intermediate Group 2 from May 2024 onwards. They develop practical IT, communication, and presentation skills.
↗ ICAI ICITSSComplete both the Orientation Programme and IT Training before the exam enrolment deadline for the session in which you plan to appear for Group 2 of CA Intermediate. You can register for ICITSS as soon as you register for CA Intermediate.
Register on the ICAI website: icai.org → Students → Orientation & IT Training → Register. You will need your CA Intermediate registration number. Choose a batch at a nearby ICAI regional centre or GMCS centre. Fees apply separately for each component.
↗ ICAIYes. ICITSS is mandatory only before appearing for Group 2 (not Group 1). You can attempt Group 1 without completing ICITSS. However, to sit for Group 2 papers from May 2024 onwards, ICITSS must be completed.
