Business Accounting Associate (BAA)

Business Accounting Associate (BAA) is a certificate awarded by ICAI to students who have completed key milestones of the CA course.

Eligibility conditions — a student must have:
(a) Qualified both Group I and Group II of CA Intermediate Examination
(b) Completed the practical training (articleship)
(c) Successfully completed the Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (AICITSS)
(d) Successfully completed the Self-Paced Online Modules (SPOM)

BAA Fee Structure:
- Indian Students: Rs 500
- Foreign Students: US$ 10

The BAA certificate can be applied for by paying the prescribed fees after fulfilling all the above conditions. It serves as a recognized credential for students who have completed Intermediate and training but are yet to qualify the Final examination.
