ACCA Membership & FCCA Application
To become an ACCA member, you must pass all 13 ACCA exams, complete 36 months of PER, and complete the EPSM.
To become an ACCA member:
1. Pass all 13 ACCA exams (or hold exemptions for some)
2. Complete ACCA PER — 36 months relevant work experience with 9 Performance Objectives signed off
3. Complete the Ethics and Professional Skills Module (EPSM)
4. Submit the ACCA membership application on MyACCA
5. Pay the membership fee
All 3 conditions (exams, PER, EPSM) must be met before applying.
In MyACCA → My Membership → Apply for Membership. Confirm that your PER is signed off, EPSM completed, and all exam passes are recorded. Pay the membership admission fee. ACCA reviews your application and, upon approval, issues your membership certificate and ACCA number.
↗ MyACCAFCCA (Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant) is the senior membership grade of ACCA. To become FCCA, you must: (1) be an ACCA member for at least 5 continuous years, AND (2) have had relevant work experience throughout. Upgrade your membership through MyACCA. FCCA carries the same letters after your name as ACCA but with a higher standing.
ACCA membership alone does not confer signing rights for statutory audits in India — only Indian CAs (ICAI members) can sign statutory audit reports under Indian law. However, ACCA members can work in audit, finance, tax, and advisory roles. For independent practice in India, CAs hold the statutory advantage. ACCA membership is highly valuable for industry and multinational careers.
