Optional Papers — AFM, APM, ATX, AAA
Choose 2 optional papers from: Advanced Financial Management (AFM), Advanced Performance Management (APM), Advanced Taxation (ATX/P6), and Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA/P7).
Choose based on your career goals:
- AFM (Advanced Financial Management): best for finance/treasury/investment banking careers
- APM (Advanced Performance Management): best for management consulting/CFO track
- ATX (Advanced Taxation): best for tax advisory careers
- AAA (Advanced Audit and Assurance): best for audit/assurance/Big 4 careers
If planning to work in India, ATX-IN is practical. AAA pairs well with SBR. AFM pairs well with FM strength. Most students choose the 2 that align with their job.
AFM, APM, ATX, and AAA are each 3 hours 15 minutes long, 100 marks. Format: written (constructed response) questions. No multiple-choice section at Strategic Professional optional level. You must write answers in the exam system (CBE). All 4 sessions (March, June, September, December) are available.
