Passing Criteria & Exemptions

Pass CMA Final by scoring 40%+ in each paper and 50%+ aggregate in each group.

Pass CMA Final by scoring: (1) at least 40% in each paper, AND (2) at least 50% aggregate in each group. Both conditions must be met for each group separately.

Exemptions for papers scored 60%+ are valid for 3 subsequent attempts from the exam in which they were earned. Failing to clear the group within those 3 attempts means you must re-appear in exempted papers too.

Apply for ACMA (Associate Cost and Management Accountant) membership on the ICMAI portal after: (1) passing both CMA Final groups, and (2) completing 15 months of approved practical training. Submit the membership application with required documents and fee.
