Why Sleep Is Not Optional for Exam Preparation

Most professional exam students treat sleep as a variable — something to cut when revision falls behind. "I will sleep after the exam" is the mantra. This is the single most counterproductive study decision a student can make, and it is backed by a substantial body of neuroscience to prove it.
